Join a team committed to safety and quality!  Due to a promotion, we have an immediate opening for an Instrument Assembler.  This person is responsible for assembling process controls instrumentation using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic testing equipment, and assorted electronic power supplies.  Pre-testing of components prior to assembly is common among many instrument lines.  Some electronics assembly is required including wiring, soldering electronic components, and testing small motors.  Work from OEM published literature to obtain specifications, dimensional prints, and general assembly instruction.  Work is normally performed at a bench, but may include walking or standing and lifting up to fifty pounds.



  • Build transmitters, controllers, positioners and manifolds.
  • Interpret work orders which dictate the instrument breakdown.
  • Due to the large range of order options, a strong attention to detail is needed as there are lots of combinations and configurations.
  • Build and test small components as part of a larger build.
  • Can generally work independently, but may require guidance on more complex assemblies
  • Other duties as assigned



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Be able to understand and follow basic instructions
  • Be able to use instrument technical manuals and read technical drawings
  • Math skills
